About

Patty Bradway for MINNESOTA State Representative is dedicated to serving House District 36B, including Vadnais Heights, Gem Lake, White Bear Lake, Birchwood Village, and White Bear Townships Precincts 3, 4 & 5. Patty grew up on a small farm in Minnesota. The ninth of 11 children, she learned at an early age how to fight for what she wanted, but work as a teammate, playing sports with her sisters. She learned the value of hard work and responsibility living on the farm and the value of an education all instilled in her by her parents. Her parents were college graduates, her mother a nurse and her father a music education teacher, and all her siblings received college degrees as well. Educated as a Registered Nurse at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing, Patty spent 31 years as a cardiac nurse at the University of Minnesota Hospital (now M Health Fairview University of MN Medical Center), five years as a Licensed School Nurse within her children’s Public Schools, and currently works as a sonographer at a Pregnancy Medical Resource Center. She believes education and knowledge are power. Patty has a great concern for the well-being of people of all ages, races, creeds, and different socioeconomic backgrounds. This virtue will help her to find a better way to serve the constituents of SD36B. Married for 35 years, Patty and her husband have three children whose families are growing themselves. Stability and practicality are part of her life. Minnesota used to be a state with high education standards and low crime rates, where people were happy to live. Minnesota children have fallen behind in every measurable category in our K-12 Public Schools. Crime is skyrocketing in the Twin Cities area, mostly committed by our youth! The high cost of living is forcing people to choose between rent, groceries, gas, and medications. Our burdensome taxes are some of the highest in the country, with the Democrats failing again to offer our seniors full social security tax relief. All these issues and more are causing people to leave Minnesota for states that treat their residents better. Patty will lead in a better way!
