Once the injury healed, the Mahtomedi sophomore won four of five races - including the Metro East Conference championship at Battle Creek Park by a margin of 24 seconds. Albrecht also competed in Junior National Qualifying events, earning multiple top-four finishes with one second-place against the best skiers in the Midwest, advancing to Junior Nationals in March at Lake Placid, New York.
