Outside, families can brave the elements and embrace the frosty afternoon as they watch St. Paul Winter Carnival award-winning ice sculptor John Njoes take a chainsaw to a block of ice to create an intricate work of art. Then, say hello to a real Samoyed dog sled. Witness the power of the fluffy white dogs, a Siberian breed native to one of the world's harshest climates. Inside, there will be no shortage of creative activities. Let your imagination run wild at art stations that will inspire the young at heart. Make a macramé keychain with help from WBCA teaching artist Haley Harnagel, take the clay wheel for a spin, and transform little ones into yetis, snow princesses, or other magical winter creatures with a fun face-paint session.
