There is no cost for this mandatory water meter upgrade if completed during the upgrade period. Look for a postcard in your mail from the Township authorized installer, M&E Construction, which details scheduling instructions. Please schedule your appointment as soon as you receive the postcard notice. This meter upgrade is only free of cost during the upgrade scheduling period. Visit www. whitebeartownship.org KNOW WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU SEE A DOWNED POWER LINE Power lines can come down for a few reasons. Severe weather or damage due to a car accident are two of the more common ones. When lines go down, the following precautions could save your life: Call 9-1-1 to report fallen or downed power lines. Know that power lines do not have to be arcing or sparking to be live. .Stay at least 10 feet away from the line. If the line is down because a vehicle has struck it, remain in the vehicle until emergency crews say it is safe to exit. If there is a fire or you smell gasoline, hop out with both feet together (without touching the vehicle). Continue hopping away to safety Visit www.safeelectricity.org for informational videos. ALL TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS WHO VOTE AT VOTE HERE EAGLE BROOK CHURCH-TAKE NOTE Eagle Brook Church on Highway 61 has long been the location for Township residents who live in Precinct Two to vote, however, the Church will be undergoing some remodeling & is unable to accommodate an area for voting beginning with the August 13th primary election for a new Ramsey County Commissioner, & continuing through the Presidential election in 2020 There are currently 64,435 public vehicle charging points in 21,851 stations available across the United States, and more are added every week did YOU No accommodations were available within the Township limits but according to election laws, a polling location may be located within 1mile of a Township's boundaries & the new Lakeshore Players location fit the bill. The Lakeshore Players facility is located at 4941 Long Avenue, across from the White Bear Country Inn & Rudy's. If you have any questions please contact Ramsey County Elections at 651.266.2171. .In 2018 Americans consumed about 142.86 billion gallons of gasoline, an average of about 391.40 million gallons per day In 2018 the United States net import of petroleum from foreign countries averaged about 2.34 million barrels per day, equal to about 11% of the U.S. petroleum consumption. This was the lowest percentage since 1957. Petroleum includes crude oil & petroleum products. Petroleum products include gasoline, diesel fuel, heating oil, jet fuel, chemical feedstock's, asphalt, biofuels (ethanol & biodiesel), & other products Heating oil is dyed red. The IRS requires heating oil & other distillate fuels that are not for highway use to be colored with a red dye. The red color identifies the fuel as exempt from the federal, state & local taxes applied to fuels sold for use on public roadways & as illegal for use in vehicles that normally operate on roadways.
