WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP News&Views 1858 RAMSEY COUNTY MINNESOTA A bi-weekly section where readeers will be informed on subjects of seasonal interest, upcoming events and other timely topics. WINTER PARKING RESTRICTIONS BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1ST-No vehicle may park on any YOU ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THE SPECIAL TOWN NO road or street in the Township between the hours of 2 a.m. & 6 a.m. from November 1st through April 1st, or any time after a snowfall of one or more inches until the road is cleared curb to curb BUDGET BUDGET MEETING TO BE HELD ON DECEMBER 10 Residents are invited to attend White Bear Township's Special Town Budget Meeting, which will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 10th at Heritage Hall located at 4200 Otter Lake Road. Similar to the Annual Town Meeting held in March, this is a meeting of the residents. Those in attendance will NUVEMBEK IS-UUtSIde storage of boats, travel trailers, campers & camping buses has been approve by vote the amount to be levied for the 2020 property tax & provide a recommendation changed, parking on or adjacent to a driveway is only allowed from April 1st through November 1st of the Town's 2020 operating budget to the Town Board after a presentation from Town staff. Snowmobiles may be parked on or adjacent to driveways from November 1st to March 31st. Staff will also answer any questions residents have regarding the 2020 property tax levy& budget. At the time of this publication the 2020 operating budget is proposed to increase 6.47% to $4,504,925, & the property tax levy is proposed to increase 8.479% to $3,691,278 Some of the reasons for the increase incdude a 7.42% increase to public safety & a 18.71 % increase for road maintenance & replacement.
