Similar to the Annual Town Meeting held in March this is a meeting of the residents, where those in attendance will approve by vote the amount to be levied for the 2021 property tax & provide a recommendation of the Town's 2021 operating budget to the Town Board after a presentation from Town staff. Staff will also answer any questions residents have regarding the 2021 PAINE after a snowfall of one or more inches until the road is cleared curb property tax levy & budget. At the time of this publication the 2021 operating budget is proposed to increase 8.37% to $4,863,775 and the property tax levy is proposed to increase 16.117% to $4,253,113. Some of the reasons for the increase include an 18.71% increase to public works (road maintenance and replacement), parks & recreation increasing 10.45%, & the Town's debt levy for road, park & water improvement increasing $132,350 based on the current offices at 651.747.2750 to have the final inspections completed so the permits debt repayment schedule.
