Juneteenth and information & activities hosted by our City offices will be closed Thursday, June community partners! 19 in observance of Juneteenth. f Blood Drive The next Red Cross Blood Drive is Tuesday, June 17 from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Vadnais Heights Commons. Pre-registration is required and can be completed through the Red Cross website, the Red Cross app, or by calling 1-800-RED- CROSS. Water Conservation Rebates HOAs, apartments, and businesses with a campus can save money with an irrigation audit. An irrigation audit assesses its efficiency and finds ways to save you water costs. There are rebates on irrigation audits for 75% of the cost up to $1,400, and rebates for sprinkler heads at 75% per head. Pollinator Protection Resolution The Vadnais Heights City Council encourages actions to support native bees and beneficial insects. The resolution supports and encourages residents to: plant more native flowers, bushes, vines, and trees; purchase plants that have not been treated with pesticides; minimize use of insecticides; leave the leaves; and talk to neighbors about the importance of native pollinators and how to help them.
