News & Views | Vadnais Heights Night to Unite Night to Unite is a statewide event that builds and fosters community bonds between citizens, businesses, and public safety organizations. This annual celebration occurs on the first Tuesday in August and gathers neighborhoods and public safety personnel together for an evening to promote and foster safe communities. Check out our new storywalk at Elmwood Park featuring the book, "The Honeybee" by Kirsten Hall. While you're there, check out the new Elmwood Park rain garden! Designed to capture and filter rainwater from surrounding hard surfaces, this was installed in partnership with VLAWMO. This garden helps reduce flooding, minimize pollution, and improve water quality. Music in the Park Join us throughout the summer for live music in your neighborhood! Meet your neighbors and enjoy an evening in the park. The next concert is July 16 and is a special joint program with Little Canada with the Roxxy Hall Band playing at Thunder Bay/Westwinds Park. The next concert after that will be No Limits the B-Side Band at Bridgewood Park July 23.
