WHITE BEAR TOWNSHIP News &Views 1858 RAMSEY COUNTY MINNESOTA A bi-weekly section where readers will be informed on subjects of seasonal interest, upcoming events and other timely topics. FREE FIX-IT CLINIC - JANUARY 25TH Ramsey County Recycles is once again offering a free fix-it affected, lost communications, or unusable roads. CERT trained oitizens can help their family, neighbors and neighborhood. The Sheriff's Office and emergency personnel train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, and businesses Lake, 2150 2nd Street. Bring items like small household appliances, clothing, electronics & more. in disaster preparedness and basik disaster response skills. The next training session will begin on Wednesday, March 11 Volunteer fxers will helpyou to disassemble, troubleshoot & repair your item for free! First come, first served. Items should and continue each Wednesday through May6, 2020. Class locations will alternate between Arden Hills, Vadnais Heights and Little Canada. Upon graduation, CERT members are prepared to assist in their neighborhoods and workplaces following an dinic on Saturday, January 25th from 10:30 1:30 at the Ramsey County Library in White Bear FTCUNS be carry-in, no oversized items. Please bring any tools or parts that might be helpful to fix your item. RAMSEY COUNTY YARD WASTE SITES - Just a reminder that from December to March Ramsey County yard waste sites are only open on weekends, Saturday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. & Sunday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. NEW: Washington County residents may use the Arden Hills, Battle Creek, Frank & Sims & White Bear Requirements: The CERT Program is available to all residents of the State of Minnesota who are 18 years and older. Residents must commit for the entire nine-week session. Classes are limited to 25 students. Equipment and materials wil be provided at no charge, thanks to a generous donation by the Sheriff's Foundation. For more information contact the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office at 651.266.7300.
