Hydrant Flushing to Begin: Don't be alarmed if you see a fire hydrant spewing water, we have it under control, it is just the White Bear Township Public Works Staff flushing hydrants & watermains throughout the Township. Some residents may WATER EFFICIENCY REBATES ARE GOING FAST - ACT TODAY - Water Efficiency Rebates are still available to White Bear Township utility customers who replace existing products with specified water efficient products now through June 30, 2022 or until the remaining $11,459.39 is depleted. Residents can claim 100% of the cost of the item waterways. Feeding also causes overcrowding by concentrating ducks & geese in one place, making it easier for disease to spread among the birds. This overcrowding can also cause water pollution since the waste from the waterfowl is concentrated in one place. We know that waterfowl waste is a source of E. coli bacteria in our experience discoloration in the water. Residents can open their lowest level faucet to clear the line. It is not advisable to wash dothes if the water is discolored.
