Hydrant flushing is an important step in maintaining the upkeep and longevity of the water system by removing sediments from inside the mainline and flushing them out through the hydrant. Changes include no watering between 10:00 am and 6:00 p.m. and residential turf watering is restricted to two days per week according to where you are located in the city. Pollinator Protection Resolution The Vadnais Heights City Council encour- ages actions to support native bees and beneficial insects. The resolution sup- ports and encourages residents to: plant more native flowers, bushes, vines, and trees; purchase plants that have not been treated with pesticides; minimize use of insecticides; leave the leaves; and talk to neighbors about the importance of native pollinators and how to help them.
