News & Views | Vadnais Heights. City Hall Closed City Hall will be closed Friday, June 19, in observation of Juneteenth. Fiber Optic Work Residents may notice ongoing fiber optic installation activity throughout the City of Vadnais Heights. These projects are being completed by private telecommunications providers, includ- ing Gateway Fiber and Forged Fiber. Residents should contact the company performing the work for the fastest response to questions and concerns. Check the information on door tags and notices for company information. Con- tact the City if you observe unsafe traf- fic control conditions, work occurring cityvadnaisheights.com outside permitted areas, or significant restoration concerns. More information at cityvadnaisheights.com/fiber. City Sprinkling Policy The City has updated its sprinkling policy to conserve water as the result of the White Bear Lake Lawsuit. Chang- es include no watering between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and residential turf watering is restricted to two days per week according to where you are in the city. Pollinator Protection Resolution The Vadnais Heights City Council encourages actions to support native f bees and beneficial insects. The reso- lution encourages residents to: plant more native flowers, bushes, vines, and trees; purchase plants that have not been treated with pesticides; minimize use of insecticides; leave the leaves; and talk to neighbors about the importance of native pollinators. Ice Cream Social Kick off summer right with Vadnais Heights Parks & Rec! Enjoy live music, visit with community organizations, and get free ice cream!
