City Sprinkling Policy The City has updated its sprinkling policy to conserve water as the result of the White Bear Lake Lawsuit. Chang- es include no watering between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and residential turf watering is restricted to two days per week according to where you are in the city. Pollinator Protection Resolution The Vadnais Heights City Council encourages actions to support native bees and beneficial insects. The reso- lution encourages residents to: plant more native flowers, bushes, vines, and trees; purchase plants that have not been treated with pesticides; minimize use of insecticides; leave the leaves; and talk to neighbors about the importance of native pollinators. Clothing Swap The Vadnais Heights Green Team is hosting its second clothing swap at Big Wood Brewery! Bring your summer clothes to swap and get clothes for free! You can swap men's, women's, and children's, clean (no holes or stains) items. Clean, usable sneakers can also be brought to the swap; an organization, Sneaker Impact, will use what they can and recycle what they can't!
