News & Views | Vadnais Heights Music in the Parks July 10 is a special joint Music in the Park with Little Canada held at Thunder Bay/Westwinds Park with music by Six to Midnight. The summer music series continues with Minty Hippo at Oak Creek Park on July 17. All Music in the Park events are at 6pm. Vadnais Heights Days Vadnais Heights Days are coming August 12-18! All the favorite events will be there such as the car show, BINGO, inflatables, Market, concerts, booya, and more. Registration for the bean bag, pickleball, family kickball, and slow-pitch softball are now active. Also if you would like to be a vendor at the Market, a food vendor, or have an entry in the Grande Parade, those registrations are also active. Work will include native plant care, invasive species removal, and other projects to maintain habitat in wilder spaces. Sign up to be included in the Parks Steward Volunteer Pool and you'll be contacted as volunteer opportunities arise. No experience is required to join; volunteers will be provided with tools and training. Events are typically two to three hours in length and will involve travelling on rough terrain.
