News & Views | Vadnais Heights Thanksgiving Holiday City Hall will be closed November 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. PJs with Santa Photos with Santa, games, treats, and more, coming to the Vadnais Heights Commons Friday, December 6! Parents must accompany children throughout the event. Wear pajamas if you like, cameras are encouraged! A calming room will be available throughout the event; let our volunteers know if you prefer to wait there for your chance to meet Santa. Winter Activities Registration is now active for Winter youth and adult activities. Youth activities include Learn to Snowshoe, Dance, Basketball, Floor Hockey, and Indoor Soccer; adult activities include Learn to Snowshoe, Tai Chi Chuan, and Yoga-including a holiday yoga cleanse! Registration can be completed online at cityvadnaisheights.com/register. Household Hazardous Waste Many household products you use to clean your kitchen and bathroom, maintain your car and home, and control animals and insects contain hazardous materials. If a container has the words caution, warning, danger or poison on the label and still has product inside, it is considered hazardous and does not belong in the trash. Bring these items to Ramsey County's free household hazardous waste collection sites for safe disposal. The site at Bay West, 5 Empire Drive, St. Paul changes hours in December to Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm. A new site will open in 2025.
