Here's your chance-join a Vadnais Heights advisory commission! Commissions play an important role by studying specific topics and making recommendations to the city council. Each commission is comprised of no more than seven members, appointed by city council to serve three-year terms. Currently, the city is seeking representatives to fill the following commission seats: Park, Recreation and Trails Commission - Two seats open; Planning Commission - Two seats open; Health and Public Safety Commission-One cityvadnaisheights.com seat open. Winter Activities Registration is now active for Winter youth and adult activities. Registration can be completed online at cityvadnaisheights.com/register. Winter Parking Rules Winter parking rules are in effect November 1 through April 1. No parking f is allowed on any City street between the hours of lam and 6am. There is also no parking allowed immediately after accumulation of two inches or more of continuous snow until the street is plowed curb to curb. Violators will be ticketed and/or towed. Silver Ball Area seniors are invited to dress in their best and join us for a dance at the Vadnais Heights Commons on January 12. Tickets include live music and hors d'oeuvres. A cash beer and wine bar will be available. Family and friends of all ages are welcome to attend. Registrations can be completed online at city vadnaisheights.com/register or at City Hall, cost is $20. Winter Shindig Celebrate all things winter with Parks and Recreation! January 11 from 2-4pm at Community Park is the spot for hot chocolate, ice skating, snow shoeing, and cookies.
