Red Cross Blood Drive The next Red Cross Blood Drive is September 10 at the Vadnais Heights Commons on September 10 from 10a.m. to 4 p.m. Preregistration is required and can be completed online, on the Red Cross app, or by calling 1-800-RED- CROSS. f Animal Licensing and Behavior All dogs and cats over six months of age within the city must have a current animal license. Current licenses expire April 30, 2026 and are valid for a two- year period. Pets in public places or on public property must be restrained by a chain or leash of six feet or less. Pets in a private yard or lot must have the property owner's permission and be effectively restrained by a fence or by another restraint that prevents them from leaving an unfenced area. Car Seat Checks Trained technicians from the Vadnais Heights Fire Department will teach you everything you need to know to make sure your car seat is fitted and installed correctly. The Vadnais Heights Fire Department performs car seat check- ups Tuesday-Thursday 8 a.m.-3 p.m. depending on staff availability. To make a car seat check-up appointment, please fill out the request form at cityvadnaisheights.com/carseat or call 651-204-6030. Fall Programs Available The fall catalog of activities is up on the city website for youth, teens, and adults.
