Speaker Series Returns The U of M Master Gardeners will present Growing Microgreens on Tuesday, September 16 at City Hall. Microgreens are a quick-growing vegetable and herb seedlings that are raised indoors. Learn about growing microgreens and their use in salads or as a fresh green in many dishes any time of year. The Master Gardeners will share research-based gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives. After the program you will go home with your own microgreens to grow at home. The event is free - f preregistration is requested but not required. Red Cross Blood Drive The next Red Cross Blood Drive is September 10 at the Vadnais Heights Commons from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preregistration is required and can be completed online, on the Red Cross app, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
