News & Views | Vadnais Heights VH Lions Club Donation Opportunities Community members are invited to drop off donations of non-perishable food, toys, or age-appropriate items for older children up to the age of 16 at City Hall from 8 am to 4:30 pm through December 13 or at any of the other Lions donation sites. Adopt-a-Hydrant The brave firefighters of Vadnais Heights require a three-foot cleared area around each fire hydrant, as well as a three-foot wide path leading to it from the street. We invite all residents to join the "Adopt-A-Hydrant" movement in their neighborhoods and ensure these life-saving resources are easily accessible after every snowfall. Winter Parking Rules Winter parking rules go through April 1. No parking is allowed on any City street between the hours of lam and 6am. There is also no parking allowed immediately after accumulation of two inches or more of continuous snow until the street is plowed curb to curb. Violators will be ticketed and/or towed. Red Cross Blood Drive The Red Cross is hosting a blood drive at the Vadnais Heights Commons on December 18 from 10 am to 4 pm.
